Hay Fever
8 July 2009 - 9 July 2009
Venue: HE Studio
Price(s): £10
Hay Fever is a comic play written by Noël Coward in 1924. Best described as a cross between high farce and a comedy of manners, the play is set in an English country house in the 1920s, and deals with four eccentric members of the Bliss family and their outlandish behaviour when they each invite a guest to spend the weekend.
Victoria Park Players are rank amateurs led by a tireless ex-professional. Over the last five years we have produced a number of shows including A Midsummer Night's Dream and The Vagina Monologues. Hay Fever is the company's first play at the Hackney Empire.
