Venue: Main House

Dates: 8 July 2011

Price(s): £ 20

The winners of 10 Latin Grammy awards, two conventional Grammys, two Billboard Latin awards and one from MTV Latin America, the fraternal Puerto Rican duo Calle 13 ('kai-yay tray-say’), René Pérez Joglar (Residente), and Eduardo José Cabra Martínez (Visitante), is more than just a band.

They are poets, satirists and political activists whose hip-hop edged Latin has moved far beyond the reggaetón scene they were once bracketed with to draw on South American folk music, Afro-beat, a touch of ska and much, much more.

Calling on their fans to stand up for their rights and paaarty at the same time they perform with an eleven-piece band that brings a powerful punch to their passionate, engaging shows.

Support comes from London based Wara with a heady- mix of Cuban funk, tropical rhythms and urban beats , Latin DJs Cal Jader & Arias (Movimientos) and a DJ set from Cali, Colombia based Tru Thoughts’ producer, Quantic playing soul, jazz, electonica, Latin and Reggae in an unmissable bill of funky Latin sounds as the night runs from 8pm until 2am
