A special show which crosses continents, cultures and generations to celebrate the vital global influence of African music.
Ebo Taylor, now well into his 70s, remains a Ghanaian legend – a songwriter, composer, bandleader and guitar players whose music mixes Highlife, Afrobeat, Funk to create a sweet, infectious, euphoric sound. His music was a crucial influence on Fool’s Gold, a Los Angeles indie collective who weave Western pop aesthetics together with African rhythms and melodies. For this show, Taylor and his Afrobeat Academy will join Fool’s Gold onstage for a unique collaborative performance – it promises to be a danceable night to remember!
Please note there is unreserved seating in the stalls for this event.
