A brand new musical adaptation by Stephen Lowe of one of the most popular and influential socialist novels of the 20th century, this production is set in an apartheid-era Cape Town of the 1950s and is emotionally charged with popular songs of the period together with many of the powerful songs of the Struggle.

On their previous visits to London, the Isango Ensemble have astounded audiences and critics alike with the quality and emotional power of their musical theatre work. They have played to sold out houses across the world and won numerous awards including the Olivier Award for Best Musical Revival for The Magic Flute (Young Vic/West End 2008).
