Hackney Empire opens its doors for the Youth takeover weekender, giving the young people of Hackney and its surrounding boroughs a chance to get involved in the creative arts industries.

Alter Ego celebrates the untapped talent of the young people of Hackney. The show features six young emerging artists (aged 13-21 years old), all competing for the title of Alter Ego Winner 2012.

The show will also have headline performances from chart topping artists.
