Open House

The Open House London event is fully inclusive and admission is free for all Open House London events each September.

Tour Times: 10.15am and 11.15am (approx 45 mins each).

Our exuberant Grade II* listed auditorium is one of the most perfect examples of Edwardian variety theatre remaining in London. The 2004 refurbishment restored the interiors, added to the fly-tower and provided new back-stage areas, topping it off with the sign 'Hackney Empire' in massive terracotta 6.4m tall capital letters.

Unfortunately as there is a performance we will not be able to take the tour backstage.

To book places on a tour please arrive 15 minutes before the tour start time and places will be allocated on arrival, on a first come first served basis.
