Trailblazers – Queens of TV Comedy. In association with the BFI.

Barbara Windsor hosts an evening celebrating those wonderful women who began their careers as stars of music hall and variety theatres from Marie Lloyd and Vesta Tilly to Hylda Baker, Beryl Reid, Irene Handel, Betty Marsden and Sophie Tucker.

A combination of live performance and rare footage, some never shown before. With special star guests including Jean Fergusson, Josie Lawrence, Joanna Riding, Jennie Dale and Sue Kelvin.
