  • Isango Ensemble: Aesop's Fables

    13 May 2012 - 2 Jun 2012

A vibrant and moving new musical for all the family from 8 to 80, based on a brilliant script by Peter Terson. The recent history of South Africa provides a context for the story when, as a slave, Aesop realises that liberty comes with responsibility as he learns some real truths from animals he encounters on his journey to Mount Olympus. Inventive and beautiful choreography add to the atmosphere of this powerful moral tale.
