About BBC Symphony Orchestra: Ten Pieces Schools Concerts

The clock is ticking, the music needs to be written, and there’s a big performance in just one HOUR!

Young composer Emily Presto needs your help!

Your mission is to help her write a brand new piece of music for the BBC Symphony Orchestra and then be part of the performance – are you up for the challenge?

Join BBCSO and conductor Kristian Sallinen for an exciting musical adventure with music from the BBC's Ten Pieces and explore the stories and secrets hidden in classical pieces of music.

Along the way you’ll meet some terrifying trolls, explore space, and dance with cowboys.

Suitable for Key Stage 2, this concert is FREE for all schools in Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Newham and Waltham Forest and invites young people to develop their own creative responses to classical music.
