Calling all 14 - 19-year-old actors, dancers, musicians, designers, singers, rappers and spoken word artists. Join the ADP 2026 company!

Our Artist Development Programme is a company of young artists aged 14 – 19. Chosen through this audition, you will spend two weeks creating an exciting new piece of musical theatre through a devising process. Mentored by industry professionals, you will compose, write, choreograph, design, and perform the show on Hackney Empire stage on Sat 8 Aug 2026.

Please note: You can apply to audition for more than one discipline. Please specify in your application and make sure to tick all audition slots you are available for.

Audition Dates and Times:

Band Auditions: Fri 19 Jun, 5-8pm (any instrument/beatmaker/producer)
Dance Auditions: Sat 20 Jun, 10am-2pm (any style of dance)
Drama & Vocal Auditions: Sat 20 Jun, 3-7pm (singers, rappers, spoken word, acting & devising)
Drama & Vocal Auditions: Sun 21 Jun, 10-6pm, (singers, rappers, spoken word, acting & devising)
Design Applications: Deadline to apply 17 Jun and we will arrange interviews that week.

ADP runs from Fri 24 Jul - Sat 8 Aug with a skills and introductory workshop on Sat 18 Jul from 10am-6pm. You must be available for all programme dates to join the company.
