

Take the Lead: Inclusive Practitioner Training
Current projectsAre you 18-30 and interested in becoming a creative arts practitioner or facilitator? Or maybe you have ambitions to lead your own work and spaces? We’re looking for someone like you, for an inclusive training project.
When: Mon 14 Apr - Thu 17 Apr, 10am - 6pm
Where: Hackney Empire
How much: Free for 18 - 30-year-olds to join the course and we will support travel and food costs for those living in London.
Please note: Applicants will be invited for a short 15 minute online interview which will take place on Thu 3 & Fri 4 Apr.
You might want to be a director, workshop facilitator or are interested in learning more about bringing your creative practice to young people and community groups. No matter your creative discipline, whether you’re an actor, musician, dancer, artist or in backstage roles, this project is suitable for anyone wishing to lead a space and workshops. The week will focus on a range of skills, from storytelling through creative practice, centering inclusivity in your practice to understanding who you are as a leader and facilitator.
We will then have a number of paid placements on our summer projects and school outreach for participants on this course to apply for.
