Are you interested in developing your skills to research, capture and gather the stories that Hackney Empire holds? Be a part of an exciting 8-week course, exploring the heritage of Hackney Empire through the Heart of Hackney Project, celebrating our 125th Anniversary.

How much: Free for 18–25-year-olds

Throughout this course, you will gain the core skills necessary to undertake research. Supported by our skilled researchers, you will take a deep dive into the heritage of Hackney Empire and explore the history of performers and communities over the last 125 years.

This course will give you the opportunity to gain an understanding of how research translates into modern career opportunities. With specialist workshops by industry professionals in media, journalism, creative direction, and marketing.
