Are you 14-19 years old, play an instrument and want more experience working with other instrumentalists? Are you interested in developing your skill in collaboration with others, or to work on your confidence as a performer? Maybe you’re interested in working in a space away from relying on a singer to hold the centre? Then Band Rooms is for you!

When: Wed 15 Apr - Wed 20 May, 5:30pm – 8pm.

Band Rooms is a 5 week programme centered in the experience of young people who are interested in playing as part of a band, wanting to gain the confidence and skill in performance, exploring sounds and more.

During the 5 week programme you will:

Work in an environment that balances fun, creativity & expression.
Develop the ability to carry a performance as a band, without the centre point being a singer, instead as instrumentalist.
Work as an ensemble, while developing technical work skill and performance style.
Collaborate with new musicians and vocalists.
Spending time composing, improvising and arranging independently.
Exploring themes/genres outside of you comfort zone.

You will also have the chance to perform at a gig in Hackney on Thu 26 Mar.
